Walk the Cowlitz Trail/Oregon Trail from the Tree to BAR Holdings

Start location: Davis Meeker oak, 7527 Old Highway 99 SE, Olympia WA 98501
End location: Squalli-absch Family Forest, 9606 Sheldon Rd SE, Olympia WA 98501
Join Cowlitz Tribe elders and others as we walk 2.7 miles on the path of the Cowlitz Trail to the forestland south of BAR Holdings, ending with a walk on a trail through the forest down a hill to where the Cowlitz Trail crosses the property (9606 Sheldon Rd SE, Olympia). For the more able-bodied, we'll take you downhill even further and show you a mound of cobbles that appears to be a grave mound.
Snacks will be provided at the end. If you can't walk that far, you can meet us at the end.
Note: there will be a porta potty at the end location.
Please bring your own chairs! We'll ferry them to the end for you.
